Our Mission

NWHA promotes the general welfare of the Walking Horse and serves as an advocate for the Walking Horse against abusive and inhumane treatment.  NWHA will increase public awareness of the natural abilities of the Walking Horse along with increasing the proficiency of its’ members in all matters of horsemanship.  Lastly – NWHA will serve as a communication hub for the Walking Horse industry and other equine groups.
